Phil Bartlett Welcomes Red Sox Trophy to Westbrook

Phil Bartlett welcomed the 2007 World Series Championship trophy to State Senate District Six on January 24th. The trophy was accompanied by John McDermott (shown here with Phil and the trophy) of the Boston Red Sox organization.

The event was hosted by the Dunkin' Donuts on County Road in Westbrook and WBLM. Also present at the event was Red Sox center fielder Jacoby Ellsbury, formerly of the Portland Sea Dogs.

"As a lifelong Sox fan it was a real thrill to see the trophy," Phil said. "I can't wait until next year when they come back with the 2008 trophy."
